| Bison Recreation Services and Intramurals held their annual Intramural Year-End Wind-Up on April 11, 2012 at the Marshall McLuhan Hall (University Centre). This annual event is held at the beginning of April after the completion of Intramurals and all Intramural players who participated in that year (Fall & Winter) were invited.
Awards were handed out, fun games were played, door prizes were drawn and great music was provided courtesy of DJ Sallyboo. The University of Manitoba Catering & Services provided food and drinks that were free to those who attended. Some of the games that were played were Face-the-Cookie, How’s It Hanging’, Elephant March, an Intramural Trivia Game and a relay race that combined Face-the-Cookie, Toilet Paper Plunger and Flip-Cup (onto a water bottle). A few of the prizes and door prizes handed out at this year’s event were a U of M sweater, backpack, gift cards to various places, 1-month memberships with Bison Recreation Services and an iPod Shuffle!
Intramurals also handed out their annual awards to the following recipients:
Most Versatile Player: Male – Gibrian Malicki-Sanchez
Most Versatile Player: Female – Dorothy Chu
Official of the Year – Kirk Sookirsingh, Co-Ed & Open 5-on-5 Soccer
NFL Fair Play Player of the Year – Tyler George
Supervisor of the Year – Aaron Boila, Co-Ed Wall Climbing & Co-Ed Inner Tube Water Polo
