We are excited to share with our facility users (members, program participants, etc.) that we now have alternative gender specific changing areas and rinsing stations available. The alternate changing areas and rinsing stations can be accessed by:
Take the flight of stairs to the 2nd floor of the Frank Kennedy Centre
Turn right toward the pool
Walk down the wheel chair ramp and turn left into the pool observation bleachers
Walk to the end of the pool observation and head down the stairs to pool deck on your right hand side
Follow the mats towards the glass door
Changing areas and rinsing stations are found outside
These areas will be available for your use as of Friday June 15th at 12:00pm.
General Rules:
When crossing the pool deck to gain access to the changing tents please stay on the mat designated on the North side of the pool deck (shallow end)
Shoes are to remain on until you enter the changing tents
To protect the environment, showers on pool patio are only meant for rinsing. Shampoo, soap or body wash is not permitted on the pool patio.
Access to the changing tents is only available by crossing the pool deck
Adjusting or removing the temporary fence and signs is not permitted
Be aware that Mini U camps are occupying the pool from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm
Both members and mini U campers have a suggested changing between the hours of 10:00am and 4:00pm (please read schedule for suggested changing area)
In order to respect privacy, we require that persons be appropriately dressed when outside the changing tents and using the rinsing station
No food or drinks are permitted in the pool area, including changing tents
Members are not advised to leave belongings in tent
There will be both male and female portable toilets, please use gender specific toilets
For the privacy of all our patrons, we require that cell phones, recording and other electronic devices not be used
