Sightsavers Innovation Fund

2012 Call for Proposals

Sightsavers Innovation Fund seeks innovative approaches to address specific issues in developing countries: (1) eye health, (2) inclusive education for children with disabilities, and (3) social inclusion for people with disabilities.

Winning ideas will receive up to £75,000 (approx. $120,000 CAD) over a maximum of 18 months.

Internal selection process at University of Manitoba:

The University of Manitoba is eligible to submit a maximum of two proposals. A committee of faculty members will review concept notes and recommend the two that will be revised and forwarded to the international competition.
