| The Faculty of Science and the Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences will host a premiere of the made-in-Manitoba film Drive For Free: The Alternative Fuel Revolution. The one-hour documentary by filmmakers Noah Erenberg and Bruce Little follows a vibrant community of penny-pinching, backyard fuel makers throughout Winnipeg and Manitoba. Along the way, they meet David Levin, biosystems engineering, and Richard Sparling, nicrobiology, both from the U of M, on their quest to make fuel from garbage such as non-recyclable Tim Horton’s coffee cups. The screening takes place March 28 at 7:00 p.m. in the Robert Schultz Theatre, 172 St. John’s College. Refreshments at 6:30.
