Location: Engineering EITC – 3, Room 270 (morning session) and the Institute for the Humanities Board Room, 409 Tier (afternoon session)
The Teaching Assistants’ and Grader-Markers’ Workshop will provide you with information to get you off to a great start in your new academic support role. All Teaching Assistants and Grader-Markers will receive essential instruction on their role as educators through dynamic workshops led by experienced teaching professionals, teaching assistants, student advisors and advocacy specialists who will be available to answer questions about the role of TAs and GMs.
All students who are new TAs or GMs in Fall 2011, or have not attended this workshop previously, are expected to participate in Tuesday’s session.
The orientation is a great opportunity for you to meet and network with other TAs and GMs and experts in teaching, advising and student support and to talk about your new role.
