Nearly 884 million people around the world lack access to safe, clean drinking water.
Working in teams of two, you will raise funds to purchase water pumps ($500 each).  One pump provides safe water for an entire community. Every time your team raises enough money to fund one water pump, you will receive one ballot to win a trip to New York City for a behind the scenes experience at UNICEF Headquarters and other exciting opportunities!  Additionally, two runner-up teams will receive a $500 gift card to share, courtesy of H&M.
The Student Challenge is open to university and college students in Canada between the ages of 18 and 25 years old.

1. Find a partner to team up with.
2. Register your team.
3. Tell your friends and family that you have become a Water Champion and ask them to support you.
Get creative, get busy and get it done before March 22 (World Water Day) and you could be on your way to New York City!  Most importantly, you will be helping children and their communities around the world.
