Thanks from the Waste Prevention Re-Shop!
Posted Tuesday, April 9, 2013 2:00 PM
Thanks to you we enjoyed another busy year.
Waste Reduction Week 2013

The Re-shop is a Waste Prevention program designed to keep usable University office supplies and furniture out of the landfill and in circulation.

The Re-shop first opened on March 3rd, 2008 and accepted only office supplies. After such an overwhelming response the Re-shop expanded to receive surplus furniture in May 2008. Since then Re-shop has donated over 10,000 pieces of furniture to University faculties, departments, staff, students and MB charities.

During the past fiscal year 2012/13 the Re-shop had 1556 visitors and re-distributed 2471 items to University departments, faculties, students and Manitoba Charities.

If you have never been to the Re-shop, drop by and see what's in stock! New items arrive every week and pictures are now being posted online. The Re-shop is open on Tuesday's 9am-12pm and 1pm-3pm at 149 Helen Glass. Check out the website!

Delivery can be arranged free of charge for faculties and departments on the Fort Garry and Bannatyne Campuses. No delivery service to off campus housing.
