Vocalists earn professional roles

After last weekend's Gilbert & Sullivan Society auditions, four Music Students were awarded lead roles with the Company.

Soprano Caitlin Wood, mezzo-soprano Nicki Kirton, tenor Nelson Bettencourt and baritone Ben Campbell will be undertaking the roles of Patience, Lady Jane, Bunthorne and Grosvenor in the Society's May production of Patience, at Pantages Theatre. Also, Alumnus Jennifer Shaw (B.Mus. Performance, 2008) will play the part of Lady Ella.

In addition, tenor Byung Yoon, soprano Sarah Kirsch and mezzo-soprano Brenna Corner, will be joining Music alumni Sandra Bender, Paul Wiens and Scott Braun in the Little Opera Company's October production of Mozart's Cosi fan Tutte.
