This page was last updated on Wednesday, September 30, 2009, at 2:32pm.

The University of Manitoba is working closely with Manitoba Health - Public Health Division to monitor developments in the international outbreak of H1N1 flu virus.

At present all classes and activities at the University of Manitoba are operating as normal and we will monitor the H1N1 influenza situation daily.

All students, faculty, and staff are reminded to follow routine influenza precautions of covering your cough and washing your hands with soap and water.  In the absence of soap and water a hand sanitizer is an alternative.  Manitoba Health is also promoting other public health measures of social distancing and staying home from school or work if you are ill with influenza like symptoms.
