Winnipeg Police Service (WPS) has confirmed that foul play was not a factor related to the discovery of a body at the Fort Garry campus on January 2, 2012.

WPS also confirmed that the individual was not a University of Manitoba student.

The University of Manitoba extends condolences to the family of the deceased.
