World War One - 100 Years After

The Military Support Office and Summer Session, Extended Education, The University of Manitoba, along with the Military History Society of Manitoba is pleased to announce A Weekend With Andy Robertshaw—world-renowned war historian and military consultant to The History Channel, and Steven Spielberg’s War Horse. April 5-7, 2013. All events are free and open to the public.  www.umanitoba.ca/military/ww1

Andrew Robertshaw is a noted military historian with extensive experience in battlefield research on the Western Front.  He has authored many publications, in addition to conducting various tours to regions of historical significance in Belgium and France.  Andy has served as consultant lead historian to many television and radio broadcasts, and most recently as military consultant to Steve Spielberg’s epic, War Horse.  Andy is an in-demand speaker and travels extensively, conducting seminars for audiences throughout Europe and Canada.
