Winter 2014 Faculty Workshop Registration

Teaching workshops are intended for professional development in teaching and learning and are only available to sessional instructors, instructors, librarians, pre- and tenured faculty members.

Locations are at 207 Isbister, Fort Garry campus.

Desire2Learn Workshop A: Introduction to D2L
New D2L users will learn to navigate D2L, recognize the various D2L tools, and recognize how D2L could enhance both teaching and learning at the University.

Please note, these sessions are all the same and you only need to register for one session. Each session is 3 hours long.
 
 
 
Desire2Learn Workshop B: Assessment in to D2L
Previous users, or individuals who have taken Workshop A: Introduction to D2L, will discover how to use the assessment tools in D2L. Working on a test course, we will employ the Rubric, Grades, Quizzes, Dropbox, and Discussion board tools to create a diverse approach to assessment.

Please note, these sessions are all the same and you only need to register for one session. Each session is 3 hours long.
