I would like to respond by saying that I enjoyed the palliative component tremedously. I felt that it was more than the traditional learning experience. We were placed in an environment where we are forced to identify our own issues regarding death and dying. So not only is it an intellectual challege, it is also an emotional and spiritual learning experience that will positively influence all aspects of my practice. In my experience, the holistic care that we are taught about was truely demonstrated by the nurses and the doctors. It was refreshing to see the idealistic vision of holistic care is actually being practiced on the palliative wards.

We would like feedback from people who have taken palliative care or are in palliative care currently. This could be in the form of positive or negative feedback. For those of you who enjoyed your experience, we would like to know why. There has been talk of removing this course from the curriculum so your feedback would be appreciated.
