Dr. Isabel Mello

Dr. Isabel Mello completed a BSc in Endodontics followed by receipt of her DDS degree from the Federal University of Alfenas, Brazil in 1996.  She then engaged in private practice focusing on Endodontics.  In 2000, she completed her Master of Science in Endodontics degree at the University of Sao Paulo and in 2008, she defended her PhD in Dental Science degree, in a joint program between the University of Sao Paulo and the University of British Columbia.

Dr. Mello joined the University of Manitoba in January 2009.  She has been working with root canal irrigants, medicaments and filling materials and is starting some new clinical research, some focused in individuals with diabetes.
