The Re-shop is a Waste Prevention program designed to keep usable University office supplies and furniture out of the landfill and in circulation.
The Re-shop first opened on March 3rd, 2008 and accepted only office supplies. After such an overwhelming response the Re-shop expanded to receive surplus furniture in May 2008. Since then Re-shop has donated over 10,000 pieces of furniture to University faculties, departments, staff, students and MB charities.
During the past fiscal year 2012/13 the Re-shop had 1556 visitors and re-distributed 2471 items to University departments, faculties, students and Manitoba Charities.
If you have never been to the Re-shop, drop by and see what's in stock! New items arrive every week and pictures are now being posted online. The Re-shop is open on Tuesday's 9am-12pm and 1pm-3pm at 149 Helen Glass. Check out the website!
Note: Delivery can be arranged free of charge for faculties and departments on the Fort Garry and Bannatyne Campuses. No delivery service to off campus housing.
