Tree banding

Volunteers are needed to help band tree trunks with Tanglefoot to protect trees on the Fort Garry Campus from cankerworms and the damage they cause.  Information on tree banding can be found on the Coalition to Save the Elms website at:

Physical Plant grounds maintenance staff will be coordinating this environmentally friendly project which is scheduled from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 18 and Friday September 19th.    Please call Lyle Morin at 474-6285 or Michele Rogalsky at 474-6286 if you have any questions or require more information.  I would like to thank CAW for their support and Physical Plant for their leadership with this initiative.

If you can spend some time on either of those dates, it would be greatly appreciated. Please meet at the Coordination station that will be located at the west entrance of Robson Hall where supplies and information will be distributed. The more volunteers we have the more trees we will be able to protect.
