March 28 - Real Survivors
     

What’s your chance of surviving a heart attack? It just got better with the introduction of new pre-hospital emergency medicine treatments in Winnipeg. We’ll describe how paramedics, emergency physicians and cardiologists are working together to improve treatment of acute myocardial infractions. In part 2 of the evening, we’ll talk about how surgery can help when medical treatments are not enough.
