A Headline can be any single data entity from a Headline-compatible tool within the application. For example, an individual event from the Events tool, an individual news item from the News tool, a single link from the Links tool, a single document from the Documents tool, and a message from the Forums tool. Once an item is a Headline, it will appear in the Headlines Snippet on all section summary pages, as well as the summary page for each user's My UMinfo page. Figure 1 shows an example of a summary page with the Headlines Snippet. The Headlines Snippet will always appear as the first Snippet.
