The following is a brief description of each field:

1. Email Format
The user can choose either text-based email or HTML-based email. This setting will apply to all email sent to the user from nTreePoint.
2. Email on Workflow Step
If you belong to a step within a workflow, and a piece of content enters that step in the workflow, you can be emailed to let you know that a piece of content is awaiting your attention.
3. HTML Editor
For users of Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher on the Windows platform, any content that can be submitted as HTML will be editable using a WYSIWYG ("what you see is what you get") HTML Editor. This is like a simple word processor-like utility that allows you to format content without having to know HTML.

If you select Enable, you will see the HTML editor whenever a form has a field that can be submitted as HTML. If you select Disable, you will see a plain textarea field, as well as checkbox that you can select if your content is HTML. See the HTML Editor and Submitting Content as HTML help pages for more information.
